Eamonn Hinchy

Land Specialist

Connection with the Land transforms people. I spent my formative years camping and canoeing with my family. It deepened my relationship with them and set me on a path that remains, to this day, centered around Nature. When I taught Biology, my students came alive on walks in the woods. My adult clients do too. The inner child, it seems, is irrepressible on farms and fields and woods. It never gets old seeing people light up like this.
Land is so much to so many: security, food, sanctuary, investment, shelter, legacy, recreation. It’s amazing what one can discover on a walk in the woods.

COAL

Office Dog

Coal is the office dog. Owned by Bob Lesperence, Coal is a 4 year old Black Labrador Retriever. He can usually be found prowling around the office looking for someone to throw a ball for him. His favorite pastime, other than swimming, is to go out with the NYL&L staff to tour property. You might even see him at one of our events begging for treats from unsuspecting customers.
